When the purpose of creating eBooks is not known, you just waka-pass posts that you should literally sleep on.
When you do not get the use of eBooks especially as a tool for business growth, you just might scoff at it when you should actually celebrate it.
See below reasons why you should create eBooks;
MAKE MONEY: this is the most popular reason for creating eBooks, simply create it, build an audience/increase your audience, launch it and just like that, you start to make tons of money.
FACT: My mentor Emmanuel Akpe & Emeka Nobis made almost a million naira from selling one book within a month in 2019.
CUSTOMER PENETRATION: Whether as a service provider or one who sells a product, customers are wary when you are always in their face selling something.
One way to combat this is to offer FREE STUFFS that do not cost you anything, one free stuff to offer is a FREE BOOK. The best part is you can actually create these eBooks using just your Smartphones.

SUBTLE SELLING
Right after you have gotten your potential customer to even look at you, it is time to employ the art of subtle selling. The technique of this is to identify a problem your potential customer has, afterwards package the solution in a FREE eBook and give it out.
You have to ensure to offer a part percentage of the solution in the free eBook; most folks will not have a problem purchasing the larger percentage from you. Your free eBook has shown them both competence & content.
FACT: Sometime last week, I got an email from Stephanie Obi (the Queen of Online Courses in Nigeria) offering a FREE EBook on how to grow my training school business, by the time I got to the last page I had a HUGE smile on my face because she subtly sold a product that addresses a problem of Digital trainers.
EMAIL LIST BUILDING
Think about it, most emails you get from brands & organizations, how exactly did they get your email address?
Did you go looking for them or they came looking for you?
Often, they come looking for you, offer you something irresistible (a free offer), a free eBook which you can only access through your mail, next thing you notice you start receiving emails from them regularly, what happened is that you have been added to their email List.
CROSS SELLING/UPSELLING/INTRODUCING A NEW PRODUCT
EBooks can be used to bundle products/services (Cross-selling), sell a higher version of a product (Upselling) and introduce a new product to your audience.
FACT: My free eBook was based on how to create eBooks within 48hours but I also used it to cross-sell/upsell (Upwork Account creation/Re-approval) & introduce my weekly FREE Virtual Assistants class to my audience.
Build your Audience from scratch/Increase your Audience base
Whichever your goal is, eBooks can be a tool that you can wield to build your audience or increase its base
Posterity Sake
EBook creation is one sure way of keeping your memoirs, which is a record of your memories.
Imagine it is your 50th birthday & you decided to write your memoirs, awesome right? The only problem is, you are stuck trying to remember clearly events that occurred when you were 15years, 25years, 35years, 45years because really a lot of water have passed under the bridge.
