One of my all time favourite songs has to be Evidence by TRIBL ft. Naomi Raine
Such a powerful song, it got me through a dark & stressful time in the first quarter of the year 2023.
I vividly remember one of those days, everything looked so bleak & the hopelessness was pressing in on me such that I couldn’t even mutter a word of prayer.
In the midst of this, while fighting tears I began to sing , “I have evidence…I am a living proof that you keeps promises, your word won’t fail”.
As I sang this line over & over again, I felt God’s presence & the reassurance that even though I couldn’t see it, I couldn’t feel it, God would come through once again.
And He did come through!
That part of the lyrics is stamped into my memory forever; like wake me up from a deep sleep & I’d recite it word for word kinda stamping.
So today; I am thankful that God gives sounds. I am thankful for the gift of music & anointed minstrels.
Above all else, I am thankful for a God that keeps promises!
