Start marketing your books immediately you conceive the idea, even before writing a word.
Making your book a best kept secret will lead to little or no sales.
Marketing your book from the ideation stage gives you ample time to prime your audience for the book launch.
Few tips on marketing your book from the ideation stage:
Announce to your audience via your platforms(social media platforms, Email list, groups etc) that you are writing a book and what they should expect.
Create at least two different book covers and ask them to choose one
You can also have them vote on different book titles
Share short & compelling quotes from the book that builds anticipation while writing the book.
Show them your process of building content for the book
